Perhaps each school sets their Canvas sight up differently, but for ours, IF the teacher records the grades in Canvas/MY MCPS classroom, you can go to the grade table for a particular class, and click on details, and it will show you the median and mean grade for each assignment, as well as the top quartile and the lowest quartile. No clue if it's possible for teachers to turn it off or not, and some don't record certain tests in Canvas. It is helpful information to have, especially to give you perspective on whether a particular assignment or class is particularly challenging, or at least graded that way.[/quote]
