She didn't want find it funny. I think it is different for people whose identification has changed over time, as opposed to someone who has always identified one way. I'd give her space to feel however she feels and just leave it alone. Especially as it doesn't sound like she has any issues identifying as your wife, which is the only thing that really matters for your relationship.[/quote]
