The service I use is either 1.75mg for $299 or 1mg for $599. The difference is the 1.75 mg is for a larger weekly dose, to take for a month, v. the 1mg for smaller weekly doses over three months...But it comes in one vial regardless, you have to break it down per injection yourself. How does this make any mathematical sense? Am I missing something? Why not just do the 1.75mg cheaper cost but broken down into more smaller doses and reorder every 3 months?
Why are you taking this medication? What does your doctor say? Your doctor should be telling you the dosage you need to control your A1C. Generally, you phase in. So, you're on the 1 mg for three months and if you tolerate that, go up to the higher dose. But from the math, you're talking about $599 for three months of the 1 mg vs $897 for three months of the 1.75 mg. But your insurance should be covering this anyway if you have diabetes.
It's for weight loss (as it is for most on this forum I think) I'm not overweight anymore and never had diabetes. Your math would make total sense if they required you to order every month...They do not. I first ordered that dose in March and reordered just now.
