They can offer you very minimal services at your home school (like speech once a week if you qualify etc) but you can refuse those services and still keep the service plan active. When he transitioned back to MCPS, it was much easier because we were already in the system, and met with the home switched him back to IEP status at his annual review. Please make sure you don’t let the IEP process lapse or close bc it’s such a pain to restart all over again. We had Ed consultants come to our meetings as well to help guide the discussion etc. [/quote]
