[/quote] It's definitely a thing - I'm 5'2", my husband, at 5'10", is the shortest man I ever dated. Like OP, I always had tall men asking me out, and rarely had short men ask me out. I was never averse to dating a man closer to my height, but they were not into me. I also happen to have a lot of tall female friends, and every single one of them has commented at some point about how the tall guys love me and they wish tall men would be interested in them.
