What does that prove? Yes, I read the boards here. I don't go around digging up months-old posts to prove trolls.

Jeff knows that there are DCUMers with excellent memories. It doesn't take much time to search older posts when you recognize a pattern ir distinct style. Sorry it bothers you but some of us don't like to be strung along by bored trolls. Are you OP or just one of her fans?[/quote]

If you don't like to be strung along by bored trolls, stop responding (which is what I'm about to do to you) and just report them to Jeff. Weird to dig up years old posts to ask if it was a troll. It doesn't "trigger" me, I just don't get it. I think it's weird to be that fixated on a troll post that you're digging up year old posts like "Well this one has a similar tone and is also about older men dating younger women" or whatever when you could just report it.[/quote]

Again, it does not "trigger" me or even bother me. I completely understand posting it on website feedback. I think it is great to report troll posts, whether via the report button on the post itself or here. What I do not understand is needing to know if a month old post with a similar tone or about a similar subject is authored by the same person. I don't care that it's "public." I don't think you'll "dox" them. I just don't understand.

For example. There was a post on 02/07 where someone asked if a recent post was related to a post from 2023 and then when Jeff confirmed it was not a troll but just someone whose story was consistent, the OP replied with "Here's another post from 2022." The tone is pretty similar to you (right down to getting defensive when a couple of people pointed out how weird this was*), so I guess I could start a thread asking Jeff if both these posts are you, but it doesn't matter. (Well, it didn't until I started arguing with you. Although at this point I am genuinely curious what you gain from this behavior.) That's weird. If people want to respond to you, that's up to them and the final say is Jeff's. But I'm not going to go through every post on Website Feedback and ask Jeff "Is this post asking if someone was a troll in 2017 the same as OP?"
