It’s a good idea to take shelter in a storm but A) you already had and B) even if you didn’t, “bracing for the strike” makes no sense because you’d still have a very tiny, tiny chance of being struck by lightning. More likely threats to those people probably included trees, cars, and their own bodies. [/quote] You don't think the lightening noticed OP bracing and decided to strike someone else?[/quote]
