It's a well run tournament that attracts high level teams from a broad area who want to play challenging games against teams they don't normally see. Kids that age can also get that from the more local tournaments you mention, but in part because other non-local teams choose to come to them. Ultimately, if you have the money and your kid would enjoy it, go for it. There's no value add outside of the memories you're making with your player though.[/quote]
