I relate OP and I relate to this too. I don’t know. I’m tired and this incessant dysfunctional politicking isn’t healthy. The tides of history tell us what will happen. Our nation is crumbling. It’s an empire that is falling. Authoritarian rule is what holds things together for longer once at this stage. Is that the next election or in 10 years or 20 years? Can’t say. But it’s coming. It will bring relative peace and calm while our liberties are slowly stripped away. And eventually the empire will still fall. Maybe in 50-100 or so years.  As much as we don’t want to hear it, the very clear and repeated historical cycles don’t lie.   And we have given zero indication that we’d do things differently this time. [/quote]
