[/quote] It is entirely possible that this type of economic problem is not fixable in a 4 year time frame. It doesn't seem like other countries have rebounded much faster than we have. And the countries in better shape. Canada is doing better but mainly because regulation prevented the same housing bubble. Germany's unemployment rate is lower primarily because it pays companies to keep people in their jobs during down times. A lot of different experiments have yielded similar results. I guess we could model ourselves after Norway, but that's not a very Republican solution, is it?[/quote]
