We did a move from a 1500 square foot townhouse (multiple stairs) to a 2200 SFH and it cost us more in 2019! We were also only 1 mile away. Ours took about 12 hours I think because of the stairs and the truck was not huge. We also bought them lunch and dinner and had a cooler of water, electrolyte drinks, coffees in a can.
