I HIGHLY recommend you do it!!! I bought a chandelier from Murano about one year ago and LOVE it. I have no regrets and it was a pretty seamless process. I bought from “Sogni Di Cristallo” and got the “Damocle” one in gold with 6 lights. It was really hard to choose which one to get because so many are so beautiful. But after narrowing down the selection based on size, style, and my desire to have something not impossible to clean, I finally made a choice. It was FAR less expensive than many chandeliers I saw in the states and soooo much nicer and more unique. I swear it makes my dining room! I did a lot of research into Murano glass makers and this company was one of the less expensive ones who also had a great selection. The people were incredibly responsive and nice too. I loved the chandelier so much that I ended up getting two table lamps in addition later on. I also love them. I used a licensed electrician to install the chandelier but I unpacked all the pieces and read ALL the instructions in advance. There were a lot of pieces and I was scared that it wasn’t going to turn out well, but it did and I couldn’t be happier. Also, the packaging was AMAZING. there’s NO WAY anything could break AND they sent extra pieces just in case you break something down the road. I wouldn’t get one second hand (even though im a big believer in second hand furniture) because it might not be wired for the US. This company wires according to the country they are sending to. Plus most of the second hand ones are more expensive than a new one! This is the site: https://www.sognidicristallo.com. It was a huge leap of faith but my parents had a Murano chandelier when I was growing up and I wanted one so much that I took the plunge. I’m so glad I did!!!
this is amazing!! what a find! thank you PP!
