Privates can be great for many kids but a public school like Churchill offers more APs, more clubs, more extracurricular opportunities, and wait for it.....it's not $40,000 a year. You forgot more students per classroom, more disruptions, more bathrooms being used for drug use, etc. [/quote] So you have no idea (aside from what you read here) because your kids are in private. My nephew begged to leave private, and his parents finally gave in. They realized it was a much better fit for him. He is doing very well. A bit awkward as Dad teaches at the private but life goes on. [/quote]
