A very common solution will be the portable AC units in bedrooms. They need to be the type which push warm air out a vent through the window. They are worthless if they don't have that. They are quite loud, although once you get used to them you will probably sleep fine, since it's constant sound. We went in late August years ago, and it wasn't too hot, and fans were enough. But ask about screens on windows. We opened the windows at night for cooler air, which worked well, but screens are uncommon in Europe (WHY????) and we woke up with mosquito bites on our arms and legs.[/quote]
