New pp here and not the one you talked to. West Virginia has been abbreviated WV and not WVA for 60 years. You can't possibly be from the state. I grew up there in the 80's and people didn't abbreviate it WVA even then.

The state is a S-hole state. They're racist, homophobic, transphobic, etc. Within just the last ten years while visiting family, I've heard people use the N word in public routinely to describe black people. The F word for gay people. I've seen African Americans refused service at restaurants. The employees just pretended they weren't there and ignored them while serving the white customers. While this is in no way all inclusive of every person there (and certainly my family there doesn't behave like this), it's common enough.

Also, the state is run by the coal industry. My grandpa died of black lung and my dad mined for years until his body was destroyed. Companies don't really value human life, look at the Upper Big Branch mine. It killed 29 people because they were trying to save a few dollars. The CEO (Don Blankenship) only got 1 year in prison for that.

The coal industry is corrupt. They are all in the pockets of politicians.

They also pay coal miners overtime. These men unfortunately love the money and buy Ford 150s and 250s. They are making good money and living the high life. And then BAM. ……  at 45 they get black Lung disease and walk around with an oxygen tank. They are grasping for air. They have families and kids. The coal industry tosses them like trash. It’s very sad.

Keep worrying about who’s in what bathrooms and transgender sports.  He has a huge population of dying coal miners, meth addicts, sky high unemployment, and residents who can’t even graduate from high school.  He’s an idiot. All those MAGA idiots will vote for him. [/quote]
