The IHRA includes the following among the contemporary examples of antisemitism: Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.

If a student says, for example, Israel's campaign is Gaza is comparable to the Nazis, it seems that would be antisemitic, as per the house bill. Does that not violate freedom of speech listed in first amendment:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

I am not a lawyer, but know that there are a lot of lawyers on here. So, just wondering about the likelihood of this becoming law and it's constitutionality. Thanks!
