Or, did you do all 3 tryouts and have you waited 48 hours past the last tryout yet? It could be the offer is still being worked out? If you think they moved him up to scrimmage with a more competitive group, it seems probable that they would send an offer. If he really wants to play, I would contact the coach in a few weeks and ask if he can attend a practice. If the coach thinks the player is a good fit, the coach can send an offer the next day.
