I fully expected to call 911 for that hour. 
It was very scary, but I’m glad he seems OK today. I kept him home from school just for observation, but he ate pretty normally and had a normal bowel movement. I’ve been researching the greenish/yellow color of skin — cannot find anything that explains that.
