I'm 5'7 pounds. My eating is out of control and has been since 2019. I can't get through even one day without binging on sweets. I don't know why I don't weigh even more. I am 46 years old. Through my 20s and 30s I weighted about 132 pounds which is my nice, most attractive weight. Now none of my clothes fit well and I feel disgusting. I will start the day out well with some oatmeal and fruit, and then a salad for lunch, but then the cravings hit and I eat multiple candy bars, down a sugary Starbucks drink, donuts, etc. I am a smart, successful person and I feel so angry and disgusted with myself that I just cannot control these cravings. At the first stab of hunger, I just freak out, and nothing makes me feel better but junk food. So I have been thinking about trying those weight loss drugs in the news...Ozempic or Wegovy or something. Is it something that could work for me short term? Would anyone even prescribe it to me? I don't have any health issues...weirdly all my numbers (blood pressure, cholesterol) are good. BMI is even ok, but for me, this weight is not healthy, and I am eating way too much sugar and empty calories. I would like to lose 10-15 lbs.
