To a certain extent you will because there’s almost never any competition from R candidates.

The Dem caucus has become the de facto election in Arlington so I don’t let their unenforceable pledge stop me from having a say in who runs this county. Especially for the supposedly nonpartisan school board. [/quote]

Same. I have no issue checking the box. I usually do support the nominee, because, well, there's not a lot of other choices, but I have no qualms because the primary is the election for all practical purposes and I want a vote.
