Our 2-yr old started at Bambini Navy Yard last month in a class of a10 kids age 2 and 3 yrs old. We love it! The teachers are skilled, loving, and attentive to the needs of each child. We've seen them walking the kids on their daily neighborhood outings when they've not known we were nearby (not intentionally spying, just happened to be walking at the same time :) and witnessed them encouraging, comforting, smiling, carefully monitoring the class, always gentle. The administration has been extremely supportive and flexible with our needs. The facility is bright and clean and new! I'm a grandma who takes my grandchild there every day. I've had 3 kids of my own in childcare over the years and this is by far the best experience I've had. I have no vested interest in the school, never knew anyone there before we signed up and I highly recommend it! PS We speak no Spanish in our home, and our child is a "late talker" so we were concerned about how Spanish-immersion might work for him. But our pediatrician and speech therapist both said it is evidence-based positive in helping kids with their language to be exposed to a 2nd language in this way, and we are already seeing that after only a month! Last thing, the other parents and families are great, very helpful, kind community.
