I’m almost afraid to ask, but how expensive is “expensive”? Would Real Life Style be in the $500-$1000 range?
Hahaha you sound like my old naive self. They charge $395 an hour for 8-10 hours. I’ve heard so many good things but she is out of my budget. They do everything, cleaning out your closet, shopping, trying on clothes, creating outfits, taking them to be tailored or donated. They charge for only the time they spend with you and not for the time they spend shopping or whatever they do in the back end. Style by Rachel charges a flat fee - $850 for the closet edit and $1950 for shopping and outfit creation. But honestly I didn’t think it was worth it and based on people I’ve talked to you can get the same level of service with a good Nordstrom personal stylist (some of them suck). Lani recommended Mary Murdoch from Nordstrom and Maura from Wandering Parisian if you have a smaller budget. With Nordstrom other people with amazing style recommended the following stylists: Ferial Abilmona, Kristi Berkland and Lysa.
