Jr. coaches have to be 15 because they need to be lifeguard certified (at least ours do) and that’s the lower limit for that. DD is a Jr. coach for her NVSL team and made $13/hour last summer (plus received a nice coaches gift from parent donation Ms at the end of the season). Only practice hours were paid; helping at meets, pep rallies, etc. was expected but not on the clock. [/quote]
