We moved from out of state and to say our daughter was bummed out about this is an understatement. MCPS does not provide the same opportunities as many other schools across the country do, I'm not sure why it's considered such a good school district. Our gifted and talented program at our school was much more intense and it absolutely was not lottery based. Kids that qualified for G/T services were provided them without question. This move has been a letdown. [/quote]
