And so? Do you know how long it takes a major publisher to fact check allegations like these before they are allowed to go to print?

SBC’s team was likely contacted by the publisher over a year ago to comment on the allegations. Isla Fisher would’ve found out about all of this at that time.

I’m sure there were lots of other issues in the marriage - him not being happy in Australia, intense pressure under the media spotlight, he seems like a difficult personality, etc.

But the divorce announcement is clearly a response to try to protect her career. They filed a confidential legal separation 6 months ago in order to set up the spin message they are peddling today. Had all of this blown over, it costs nothing to end to end the “separation.” There’s not even any confirmation that SBC and IF were living apart from each other![/quote]
