For under-dress/skirts leggings (which my kids have always had to wear to school because of a dress code) I went with Hanna Andersson for the ones that lasted. Tea Collection and Boden were cute but did not hold up as well. Same with Cat&Jack and Old Navy (cheaper options but seemed to fall apart really quickly).

For stains, try the Carbona Stain Devils sets. They have about 8 or so specific formulas for specific stains. The grass, dirt, and makeup one is spectacular at getting grass stains out, way more so than Oxi Clean (which I otherwise love and use), Shout, etc.

I also started washing the leggings first and then stain treating as needed rather than stain treating first because I was often surprised how much would come out in the wash with detergent and Oxi Clean but no actual pre-treatment. [/quote]
