40 year old female who has had an overweight bmi for most of my adult life, with several periods of dramatic weight loss brought on by a recurring ED. when I was my lowest weight (still a normal bmi) I was exercising compulsively and my period stopped for years. flash forward to now and I have been on a low dose of a semaglutide which triggered the ED again. I also stopped drinking 6 months ago (I loved wine). I’ve lost a bunch of weight of course but am mostly miserable. despite being overweight my labs were always good and I was relatively healthy. I miss enjoying food, having a glass or two of wine at night, and accepting my body. that’s all.
You contradict yourself. You were not accepting your body if you had recurrent ED and many large swings in weight loss and weight gain over many years. Look up Ed Mylett YouTube videos on self sabotaging behaviors.
