Fortunately we are happy with our daycare and they have a preschool program. But a school spot would take the financial pressure off because we’ve been delaying having our second. We’re at a place now where we could play double daycare but it’s not ideal.

More or less but it isn't a sure thing that the person who was #10 on match day was offered a spot.  A few things can affect your spot:
- People ahead of you could decide that they are happy with their spot and take themselves off the waitlist so you move forward
- A sibling in a higher grade could get an offer and that would put a sibling on the PK3 waitlist ahead of you

Remember also that the closer it gets to end of August the more likely it is that a school will need to make multiple offers before someone takes the spot.  So the fact that they made ten offers doesn't necessarily mean they had ten spots open up- they might have offered the spot to ten people before one took it[/quote]
