LOL. I feel you. The pinboard is a great idea. I can't believe I hadn't thought of that! DD and I do a lot of texts back and forth, which becomes hard to follow.

And as much as I complain sometimes about the "personal shopper" thing, it's turned out to be a surprisingly fun way to connect.  DD isn't fancy or especially into clothes, but she's always had strong preferences and her own look, and I like supporting that.

P.S. Now that she's 15, our roles seem to be reversing.  :)  YMMV, but it's been fun here!  Rather than me being the one responsible for sending her ideas (with her responding back yea or nay), she's been doing more of the looking on-line and sending me the ideas so I can be the one to say yea or nay. Thankfully, she seems to have learned how to hit the sweet spot of cute/appropriate/price, so I rarely need to veto anything.  It's more of a "Love it, but don't you already have something like that?" or "Love it, but what do you think about this one, which is similar, but you may like more because of X, Y, or Z." And I've taught her to handle returns for things that can go back to the mall or other in-person stores. Much easier!
