What is the best way to work on soccer skills over the summer for 11 year old girl? (Not part of travel team, but played soccer for last 4 years). Looking to specifically improve skills, not just join a general summer camp. Are there any skills clinics available during the summer in the DMV area (closer to DC/Bethesda)? Is 1:1 or small group coaching an option? Any leads?
I'm not sure what you are looking for...you want you daughter to improve her skills but "not just join a general summer camp". So are you looking for soccer specific camps? If so, I'm sure Bethesda soccer club offers soccer clinics. Look at all the bigger clubs and I'm sure they offer summer clinics. If you want to do 1 on 1, maybe ask a coach she likes if she/he would be willing to work with her. And better yet, see if one or two or three of her soccer friends at her same level are interested and have small group training. kids tend to want to be with a few friends...and the group can split the fee, so cheaper for you.
