(Agree with the PP that I thought the laser was a silly marketing gimmick until I used it; it actually helps me make sure I got everything.   The display that shows you how much you sucked up and what sizes the particles are, though, is totally a gimmick and has no practical value beyond grossing you out.)[/quote]
