I usually request the refill about 8 days out and then it just sits at the pharmacy. I’ll get a text from CVS saying the day it can be filled and so I go to the pharmacy either the day before it can be filled or the morning that it can be and start trying to charm my way to a filled script. My son is on Vyvanse and I’ve been paying the much higher copay for brand name.
Did you have him try Generic? I switched from taking brand name for years, to generic a few months ago and am pleasantly surprised to have not noticed any difference. Although I know YMMV and manufacturers are better than others.
