Larla was born in X city and went to Y school.  After school Larla moved to Z city where they met Larlo, got married and raised 17 beautiful children . . . (not the actual text of the obituary) Larla was changed to "Jane".

Why would a company do that?  If they'd just copied the obituary, I probably never would have noticed, but why would they edit it?  Do they think we made a mistake?  The purpose of the site seems to be to take advantage of dead people to get money from their relatives, as it included links "donate here in Jane's memory" or "Pay to plant a tree in Jane's memory".

I got it removed, but why would they do this?  [/quote]
