Depending on when you are going and if you decide to go to Spain - a few years ago we planned to take the train from Madrid to Seville - but made the mistake of planning to book the train upon arrival - unfortunately no spaces on the trains and we had to be in Seville for a specific event - we ended up renting a car and it was a wonderful and easy drive so I wouldn't discount that as a means of transportation. It allowed us to get places off the beaten track. [/quote]
