Seems laughable when most would choose the latter.[/quote] Because even OOS, UMD honors is $25K less than Cornell. Cornell is a dismal place, not very welcoming. Winters are long and dreary. It's really difficult to get to/from unless driving. My kid did not like Cornell or the programs there. Weather they could have lived with (they are 2 hours away in very similar weather, but are only 5 mins from the airport and in a bigger city)[/quote]
