But I was talking to a mom whose 4th grade son plays hockey. Has early morning practices and sometimes late evening practices too. I asked her how does she get him to wake up at 5 and how is he able to even practice. She said she gives him prime energy drinks on the way there to ‘wake’ him up and to make sure he was alert. I was horrified. But then we don’t do crazy sports schedule so what do I know..[/quote]
