She was working and it didn't seem like the time or place for a high school reunion. The next time I saw her, she had put on her sunglasses (while working indoors) and appeared not to recognize or see me. We both more-or-less avoided each other for the rest of the party, except towards the end, when we nearly ran into each other. I smiled and nodded, but she looked like she would have happily murdered me. So I just continued the conversation I was having with another mom and left it at that.

I used to wait tables and have waited on people I know before. Most of the time it was fun. DH says she was probably embarrassed. Should I have said something? What is the right way to handle a situation like this?
