Many pharmacies are prioritizing diabetics fir ozempic prescriptions and won’t fill it fir non-diabetic patients. Did your dr prescribe Ozempic or Wegovy?
How would a pharmacy know why it was prescribed? If you’re actually obese, then I wouldn’t feel bad about taking Ozempic. Obesity is a disease and there are only two medications that effectively treat it. There are numerous diabetes drugs.
Almost all type 2 diabetics are also on metformin as well or have a history of having tried metformin so it is easy to tell who is diabetic. There aren’t other diabetic medications that are as effective in lowering blood sugar as Ozempic and monjauro. So obesity has so many health risks but if you have type 2 diabetes you are at a greater risk of complications like having a foot amputated or going blind.
