To the PPs who suggest just leaving it on - I understand where you are coming from, but for various reasons to do with my skin and personality I can guarantee you that that just won't happen. I know myself and if I don't have a ring I can get on and off easily there WILL be weeks where I'm not wearing anything.
Get your husband to buy you a pretty band for your next anniversary in a winter size. Maybe something engraved or with small stones set flush. Not sure what styles you prefer. You could also try estate jewelry if you want something lower cost.
Thank you - do you have any suggestions for actual pieces, or places to look? My style is fairly clean / straight lined, probably a bit preppy, but also very low maintenance. Thus the reason why I don't really know where to even go to start looking for ideas. My actual wedding ring is a simple platinum band and the engagement ring is a single solitaire (classic 6 prong setting,) but I think I'd be interested in doing something a little more exciting for this versus just trying to recreate my wedding band in a larger size. And probably something that is uniform all around so I don't have to worry about it spinning on my finger.
