I don't understand how you can describe this is "a classic".  It's a veronica beard blazer that can be spotted a mile a way, because it is not based on any kind of classic blazer style. Opposite of classic.  It's fine to love it. I have stuff in my closet that I love, that will probably be in the donate pile in a few years when the trend dies. I think you are right! Those are brutal. I see there is a much more classic plain blazer, also called a dickie blazer.

But call me crazy: The dickie blazer is just a blazer.  Separately, VB makes a "dickie" to wear under the blazer.  So for the OP who is asking about the jacket itself (not the dickie) and says she is seeing it everywhere, she must be referring to the nipped one with brass buttons. Because i don't think the classic blazer would be noteworthy?  [/quote]
