I know he's saying he's only retiring a few months earlier than planned, but it seems like a lot of folks are jumping ship from MoCo in general. Given that he was just appointed in 2019, why did we only plan for him to be in the role for a few years? Is that normal for police chiefs?[/quote]

Nationally, it's normal. We have been spoiled because Manger was here for 15 years before Jones took over.
