[/quote] Yes, this is the correct answer from what I've seen with my U14 ECNL DD. People just show up any month of the year. If coach likes, he finds a spot for new girl. If not, I've seen girls cry at the end of practice after the "coach talk". There is no formal tryout period for a girl to show up to random practice. I was told ECNL players can't change clubs until after May but I've also seen girls changing ECNL teams just whenever and parents say their daughter was released from one team to join another.[/quote]
