Been eating so well for a month. Tons of nuts Sardines and other oily fish No red meats, pasta, rice, bread or booze Tons of fruits and veggies Natto High quality matcha BP is down 8 to 10 points already and I’m feeling a lot less bloated overall.
What is this exactly? I googled it, looks like some kind of soy product? how do you use it? what does it taste like? What are the benefits?
Natto are soybeans fermented with lactobacillus. A lot of westerners can't get over the texture and taste, but I love it (am western). It just has a nutty and earthy flavor. You eat on a small amount of rice and add the small soy packet they usually come with. Natto is one of the only known and one of the richest sources of nattokinase and it tons of stuff like K2, manganese, and many other minerals and fiber. Very good for gut health, reducing blood pressure, and combating high cholesterol. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9616652/ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27927636/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6043915/ https://www.nature.com/articles/s41430-020-00732-1 For many people, it may take getting used to natto because they might find it unpleasant, but I had no problem eating it. Very easy to eat for breakfast, like they do in Japan, and it is filling for a low amount of calories.
