I prefer Holden as its more grown up as an adult but the Catcher and the Rye came to me too but its a nice name.
Agree with this. Catcher in the Rye is a really boring book and the older it gets the less people will consider it a classic. It was loved by the kind of book critic who went to prep school. That world is Boomer era and drawing to a close. I like Holden Scott best. Brittany Spears' son is Jayden James. There's also a porn star with a similar name, as I found while trying to confirm Brittany's kid's name. I think Hayden is a trendy name that peaked. And when it peaked, there were lots of names that rhymed with it. https://www.babycenter.com/baby-names/details/hayden-462585 I gave my kid a classic name first and a quirkier middle. That way his credit reports are unique and if he wants to be different he can use his legal middle name. How about Scott H. Last Name?
OP wants Hayden or Holden, not Scott.
