I do see that the new Principal is making efforts to be more communicative with the community, and haven't heard much grumbling in the community lately. Things seem to have settled down, though parents have also become more involved because of the events of last year.

But, time will tell. This time last year, I had no idea there were issues at school. It all only came out at the end of school year when state testing revealed that K students were being totally failed educationally. There were also some disciplinary issues that were simmering, and also blew up at the same time. It was a mess.

Please forgive my lack of coffee and poor wording; I meant to say that I am not familiar with this year's crop of K students, so I don't know if there are issues this year. But it hasn't popped up in the community group chat this year. [/quote]
