I posted the Flannery link and I don't disagree that his steaks are pricey.  Let's be real, we are lucky to be disputing whether steaks are worth spending that much $$$.  However, they are that good...for a splurge or great gift. I have been fortunate to try many of the top-end mail order steaks - like Lobels and Allan Brothers - and Bryan's are better and less expensive.  He selects and butcher's each steer - so you pay for his selectivity and aging.  In fact, you will be hard pressed to find a better steak anywhere, whether it comes from a top-end DC or NY steakhouse or local butcher.  So again, if you have not tried it, don't knock it.  Yes they are expensive but relatively, it's an affordable best for people who can afford to buy mail-order steaks.  Maybe we can't buy the best house or best car, or best..... but for the price of two DC red light speeding camera tickets, you can have the best steak in the US.
