I still keep in touch with both of them and they will stop by to visit the kids periodically; we text photos and send Christmas cards, etc.

*In retrospect, I was too emotional about it and considered some really ill-advised things - like I tried to convince nanny #1 to stay part time and to cut back myself to part-time work to cover her off-hours - that was not logical and would not have made sense (for me/us) on a number of levels.
