Yes, I was a teacher that year (2020-2021), and it was made clear to the staff that the reason for the full week off was Covid. Last Saturday only affected sports and not school- so the poster above is clearly inaccurate. [/quote]

If there were really 8 inches of snow, they could absolutely keep in closed all week if temperatures remain freezing... unplowed roads and ice that refreezes. It seems unreasonable but it has happened before. In 2016 we also had about a week of closures. [/quote]
