Oh, speaking of other options -- I have used Celebrex (anti-inflammatory) off label to help stop a migraine if I didn't catch it with my triptan early enough to prevent it from getting full blown. The Celebrex was originally prescribed for something else, but my neurologist approved it for this use and wrote me a new scrip for it.

I do not like taking daily medication so I'm committed to making triptans work if possible (which they do about 90% of the time for me).   Switching triptans and using Celebrex as an assist if they are stubborn has worked for me thus far. [/quote]
