WTF is the point of asking a guy to go as a friend?  Either she wants to ask a guy on a date, or she doesn't.  I guarantee the guy doesn't want to go as a "friend".

I don't know what a Sub Deb is either (is this a Southern thing?), but seems like kids with our without dates have a blast at Homecoming and other school functions.[/quote]
